Formated in 2003, by at the time 13 year old New York born entrepreneur Lawrence Dixon, HD grew from a local promotion company, to an international organization that facilitates mass services within the entertainment and media industries. Having worked with the likes of inspirational recording artist Kierra Sheard, to Grammy award winner Kelly Price, and even legendary acts like Shirley Murdock, Dru Hill and Ginuwine, HD provides Artist & Business Management, Road & Tour Management, Booking, Marketing, Event Planning & Consulting, Recording Services (full production including songwriting). We specialize in bringing our clients vision to reality, often making HD our clients preferred one stop shop.
Also the umbrella for the erstwhile, international publication HD Magazine, we have provided services to a vast variety of organizations and events including The NAACP and The Tom Joyner Family Reunion.

Lawrence youngBiz Dixon
The creativity and musically inclined talent of Higher Definition Entertainment, LLC founder Lawrence Dixon is unmistakable, and nothing can stop him from achieving the success he works so hard for. Actually, according to music icon LL Cool J, "he will succeed". Highly influential, he is always striving to push the limits, and create. Commonly know as "youngBiz" amongst industry peers, Dixon has been involved in the evolution of the entertainment industry since before his prime.
youngBiz started his production company at the age of twelve in 2003. One hour after his eighth grade graduation, the ambitious preteen ventured to the Erie County Clerk's office to obtain his DBA Certificate, to officially put his vision into action. Then known as Peace Productions & Entertainment, youngBiz successfully assisted local promoters with their gospel events, while gaining knowledge to promote his own. One year later at thirteen years old, youngBiz successfully produced the event that would give him the title of "The World's Youngest Promoter", gaining over 1,000 attendees. The event featured multiple award winner, Kierra Sheard of the legendary Clark Family dynasty. Eventually, youngBiz would expand from his gospel roots, and work with notable figures in both the Hip-Hop and R&B communities. More recently in 2017, expanding into additional genres, including EDM and Jazz; this has penned Dixon with the sobriquet "The Bridge".
In 2005, Dixon began to work on building an empire. He founded HD Magazine, which was under the umbrella of his production company now known as Higher Definition Entertainment, eventually obtaining LLC rights. With HD Magazine, youngBiz was afforded many opportunities to travel and meet with many celebrities and dignitaries, even being invited to cover events as far as South Africa and Japan. Having traveled for many years on the road as a teenager, working as road manager and artist liaison, Dixon knew was destined for more. In 2013, Dixon announced his partnership with Pastor Rudy & Juanita Rasmus, along with Beyonce and her mom Tina Knowles for the Miss A Meal Campaign.
With over 120 nationally and internationally produced live events under his belt, Dixon continues to defy the odds. He has worked with some of the world's most appreciated and recognized personalities and organizations, with no signs of lag. Also a songwriter for BMI, youngBiz is a proud member of The Recording Academy of Arts and Science.
